Domaine Laroche - Chablis St.-Martin 2021 (375ml)
Vinous Media: 91 Points
The 2019 Chablis Saint Martin, which had already been bottled, has a charming nose of fragrant yellow flowers, caramelized pear and hints of chalk, all very well defined. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh, revealing a twist of sour lemon toward the finish. This is a very fine entry-level Chablis that deserves your consideration.
Wine Spectator: 89 Points
A crystalline, streamlined white, exhibiting lemon, mint and crushed stone aromas and flavors. Racy, with mouthwatering acidity gracing the finish. Drink now through 2026. 10,000 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.
Burghound: 88 Points
There is a plenitude of Chablis character to the ripe aromas of peach, apple and citrus confit. The delicious, round and rich middleweight flavors possess very good punch while delivering fine length on the saline-suffused and dry finish. This attractive effort could use more depth, but it certainly is refreshing.
